Day 1: Fly in to Kidepo and go for Afternoon game drive
On this day, you will be picked you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and drive to either Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airfield. You will board for your 2 hours flight to the far northeastern part of Uganda. On your way, you will have an opportunity to see Uganda’s beautiful and changing landscapes. You will land at Kidepo Valley airfield or Apoka Airstrip where you will be picked by our focal person at the park. You will then be transferred to your lodge where you will freshen up, have lunch, relax/swim and wait for your afternoon game drive. The afternoon game drive will take you to spot lions, hippos, wild dogs, buffaloes, elephants, leopard and several species of antelope in the wilderness.
Alternatively, you may decide to rest at the lodge pool in the afternoon till evening as you stretch your eyes far to observe some wildlife. You can also get an opportunity to see some wildlife near the lodge.

Day 2: Morning game drive to Narus Valley and visit to the Karamojong community
On this beautiful morning, you will have a delicious breakfast at your lodge then be driven for an early morning game drive at the Narus valley. Every game drive is different and you will see a number of mammals and birds that you probably didn’t see in the first game drive. Kidepo is a beautiful park and you will be amazed by the landscape and unspoiled wilderness. Take enough photos before returning back to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will drive to the community to visit the Karamojong people. The Karamojong are nomadic pastoralists who live in unique houses called manyattas that are designed to be temporal. Their leaders will explain to you all about their culture and entertain you with their traditional songs and dances.
Thereafter, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game drive to Kidepo Valley and Hot Springs – visit to the IK People
On your third day in the park, you will begin with breakfast before heading to the Kidepo valley. You will pass through the Narus valley again on your way to the Kidepo valley to spot more mammals, ostriches and other bird species. You will see the famous Hot springs in Kidepo and get to know how they relate to the local/indigenous communities. You may also get the opportunity to see the border between Uganda and South Sudan before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe Airport or Kajjansi Airfield
On your very last day, you will have a relaxed breakfast, checkout and be driven to the Kidepo Valley Airfield for your flight back to Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi airfield. You will then connect to your international flight or drive to your hotel.
