Your 6 Days Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth Safari takes you to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary. You then proceed to the park for your wildlife experience. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s biggest savannah park located in the northern part of the country. The park has a very diverse profile of wildlife and is the only national park that gives you access to all the big 5 game animals in Uganda. You will continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to the big 4 game animals
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park and Ziwa rhino sanctuary.
You will be picked up from the hotel early in the morning after your breakfast and set off for Murchison Falls National Park. On your way to the park, you will branch off to Ziwa rhino sanctuary In Nakasongola District.
Lunch will be at the sanctuary before proceeding to the Murchison falls National Park. Later when you reach your lodge, freshen up, and relax since it has been a long day .

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
After an early morning breakfast , you will leave for an early morning game drive looking for the early morning riser. As you head out for the game drive, you will be in position to spot animals like the buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, Rothschild giraffes, Oribi, Kobs and waterbucks together with some bird species along the way with some feeding together with the big animals.
After you will head back for lunch . In the afternoon you will head for a Boat ride along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls. This Boat ride on River Nile goes for 3 hours and you will be able to see some Nile crocodiles, numerous hippos, as well as various bird species. You will then return for dinner and the overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Top of the falls and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On this day, you have breakfast and head to the top of the falls where you will view it from above. At the top of Murchison Falls “also known as Kabalega Falls”, the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks that is only 8 meters wide, and tumbles 43 meters before flowing westward into Lake Albert. Later you will drive out of the park through the southern gate and drive through the western route of fort portal where you will have lunch. You will then continue to the park via Kasese town, reaching in the evening. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge, rest at the lodge as you wait for your dinner and rest till overnight.
Briefly, Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most visited game reserve and arguably the most scenic. The national park protects the vast savannah plains, bushland, wetlands, and forests that lie at the base of the Rwenzori Mountain ranges. Kazinga Channel, which flows through the park and connects Lake George in the East to Lake Edward in the West, attracts a rich array of birds and animals, including the infamous Nile crocodile and one of the world’s largest concentrations of hippos. On your first game drive, you will explore the park along with a 200-kilometer network of well-maintained game viewing tracks. Dinner and overnight

Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
On this day, after your breakfast, you will head to the northern section of the park “Kasenyi planes” where you will interface with the wildlife.
On your morning game drive, expect to see a good number of animals since you will be in the Kasenyi sector which is a breeding ground for the antelopes. This makes predator come around this area to hunt down food and feed on these antelopes. Expect to see other animals like Buffaloes, Elephants, Ugandan Kob, hippopotamus, Topis, waterbucks, warthogs, giant forest hogs, spotted hyenas and leopards on a lucky day.
You will have lunch, and after you will head to Mweya peninsular at Kazinga channel for a boat cruise. A boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel will offer you one of the greatest wildlife experiences in Africa and Uganda in particular. Prepare to see countless hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, water birds and many of the other park animals drinking from the channel. You will return to the lodge with a short evening game drive as you end your day with a sunset view while resting at your accommodation.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Katwe for salt exploration experience and crater drive.
On this day, you will wake up with a warm meal and drive to Lake Katwe for the salt mining experience. Lake Katwe is a customary lake on which salt mining is done, formed through long ago volcanic eruption close to 10,000 years back. There are two activities that take place there, Rock salt activity and salt winning. Rock salt activity is carried out in the main lake by only men whereas salt winning is carried out in the salt pans by both sexes.
Thereafter you will head for a visit to the crater lakes in the park and enjoy a game drive as you appreciate the beauty of the nature formations. You may also go for a plantation tour and an evening game drive as this will conclude you day at the lodge.
Alternatively, you can go for chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest which to interface the chimpanzees. This is also an amazing experience where you get to see the chimpanzee in the forest and have to learn about their way of life.

Day 6: Transfer to back to Kampala via Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions
Thereafter, you will drive to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator for lunch and taking photographs as well as souvenir shopping. You will reach in the evening for your evening flight back home or your next destination.
